The Zadge returned Monday to the Top Secret Day Job after a week off, only to discover that she unexpectedly – emphasis on unexpectedly – has a Big Thing starting this coming Monday. Which means intense amounts of effort and work to be ready. As a result, our frantic heroine is worn out and too tired to give any good blog to you peeps other than to share two things:
1. She, like apparently every other American, bought a Powerball ticket for the Big Drawing tonight of 500 million dollars. But is she the only one who is now thinking that, other than buying the private jet so she could fly anywhere she wanted with her dogs, she kind of doesn’t want to win — even though she knows she will — because it would so dramatically alter her life and she’s actually quite happy in her life?
2. She recently ordered some reading glasses online because a) she’s old and can no longer see anything up close, and b) she’s a slave to fashion and wanted some cool ones. They arrived with this 5 x 8 card and the Zadge loves the card more than the glasses:
Do we not get to see the specs?
I wondered the same thing.
I cannot fathom that the first thing the Zadge wouldn’t use her money
for would be a private CONCERT with her new boyfriend.
WHAT?……… no match.airport.com???
The spectacles…….they will make Zadge’s life easier…..amen.
I have reading glasses in every room of the house. I look like Granny Clampett trying to set the temperature on my oven!
don’t feel bad about the reading glasses… I’ve had specs since I was 7…
Isn’t that the Boy Scouts motto?
seriously, show us the specs!
Granny Clampett.
That Meg is funny.
I would like to see the specs since I need a pair myself – I can’t find anything in the store that I like!
I heard about the bonkers powerball jackpot the other day on the car radio, and I wondered if people who live in Utah are allowed to buy powerball tickets. Since this is gambling and everything.
I guess that’s a dumb question.
I will send you my dollar and maybe next time you buy Piper one too??
